It makes no difference to this bible study, however for the sake of those who mistakenly believe that an effort against “democracy” is an effort against “our country,” it must be understood that America was never set up as a democracy, but decidedly as a Republic (“. . . and to the Republic for which it stands. . . .”). Democracy is mob rule. As it has been pointed out before, “Democracy is two wolves and a chicken sitting down to vote on what’s for dinner.” In any case, regardless of what America is, was, or should be in your opinion, the country is finished. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about the possibilities for any nation that rejects the living God, regardless of its political claims or persuasions. The word of the Lord and the legacy of history tell it all.

[Politics, religion, mob rule, and conspiracies all seek some other way, and are the standard operating procedure on planet earth!]
Luke 12:32 “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
[Why would you have to build a kingdom when you could be given one worth having?]
(4) 2nd Samuel 7:23 “And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name. . . ?”
Isaiah 56:1-8 “. . . I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.”
[You don’t have to “make a name” for yourself.]
(5) Hebrews 11:12-16 “These all . . . confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. . . . wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
[Why would you have to build a city when one is prepared for you?]
(Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”)
Acts 8:1-4 “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”
(The world belongs to Satan. We’re the foreign disease invading and irritating the body under his control! We’re the cancer cells, in the world’s opinion! The worst thing a doctor can do with cancer is to cut into it to get rid of it: he just spreads millions of cancer cells all throughout the body of the person he’s “trying to cure.”

Most American Christians simply refuse to believe that Satan, as the “god of this world”, automatically heads the government of this country; that the country belongs to him not to the people (Hebrews 11:16); and that it is completely run by men who are not remotely Christian (although they may for convenience sake, claim to be so):
And the devil . . . shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world. . . . And . . . said unto him, All this power will I give thee . . . for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. [Luke 4:6]
QUESTION: If you believe this verse, but never thought about this verse before, what have you learned?
QUESTION: To whom and to what sort of people would you think that Satan would give power over his kingdom? To somebody like you, or your friends?
[I have observed in Americans (Maybe it’s true of everybody.) a strong aversion to belief in conspiracies, and an unwillingness to ponder wickedness or Satanic infiltration in connection with whatever is “ours” – “our” political party, “our” country, “our” government, “our” church, “our” beliefs, “our” world. I don’t know if this is part of our flesh, or it is instilled by Satan through our training, but it is real. On the other hand, if you believe Luke 4:6, you have to believe in a vast world wide conspiracy, even if you knew nothing about the details of how it works.]
2nd Timothy 3:13 “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
[While these evil men are seducing and deceiving others, they convince them that there is no conspiracy and that things are not getting “worse”! The problem for you is that, in America, all these people are voting, so that if it’s true that “Your vote counts.”, then you’re screwed, because there’s a lot more of “them.”
Revelation 19:20 “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
