2nd Thessalonians 2:2-3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. . . ."

Hebrews 6:4-12 "For it is impossible for those . . . if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance. . . ."

Revelation 2:1-5 "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; . . . I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent. . . ."

Psalm 37:9 "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth."

Matthew 24:9-13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Falling Down Before The Wicked: (This is related to falling away from the Lord.)

Proverbs 25:26 "A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring."

Matthew 4:8-10 "And [Satan] saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."

Revelation 13:1-18 "And he causeth all . . . to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. . . ."

14:9-11 "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God. . . ." (So men then say, "God’s a forgiving God.")

v. 12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Revelation 15:1-2 "And I saw . . . them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name. . . ."

(This is an OK way to fall down before the wicked.)

Matthew 7:24-27 "and great was the fall of it." (Those that fall were not "founded upon a rock.")

13:18-21 "Yet hath he not root . . . for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word . . . he is offended."

15:12-14 "And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

21:42-44 "And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken. . . ."

2nd Peter 3:17-18 "Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness."
