Us & Them -tf

Said by a "lady" Las Vegas "minister" on the radio: "We need to get away from this idea of ‘us and them’ in terms of our religion. We need to come together to see that God does not think that way: God loves us all the same."

[This typically ecumenical woman preacher is either utterly ignorant of the bible, or a deceiver, or both.]

1st Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. . . ."

2nd Timothy 4:1-5 ". . . reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. . . ."

(1) God does NOT love us all the same!

Malachi 2:17 "Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them. . . ."

Psalm 37:23 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way."

Hebrews 10:38 "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."

Romans 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."

Psalm 5:4-6 ". . . thou hatest all workers of iniquity. . . . the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man."

10:3 "For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth."

11:5-7 "The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth."

Revelation 19:11 "

Genesis 6:8 "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."

QUESTION: And what happened to the WHOLE WORLD?

QUESTION: Did any in the whole world, besides Noah’s family, find grace?

1st John 5:19 "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." (How rude!)

(2) We definitely SHOULD think in terms of "us and them" because the God of the bible thinks in terms of "us and them."

Exodus 11:5-7 "But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue . . . that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel." (Having a problem here, are you?)

9:27 "And Pharaoh . . . said unto them, I have sinned this time: the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked."

[Even Pharaoh knew it was true, even though it was a major job to get him to admit it!]

(v. 34) "And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants."

10:21-23 "And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt . . . but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings."

17:16 ". . . the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."

[The Lord is not only against Amalek, but is against all of his descendants!]

John 16:27 "For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God."

17:6-20 "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine."

Numbers 16:1-3 Korah and friends ". . . gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them. . . ." (nicely worded slop)

(In other words, "God loves us all the same.")

vs. 19-35 "And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. . . . And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up. . . ."

(Concerning v. 26, see 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 ". . . come out . . . and touch not the unclean thing. . . .")

v. 41 "But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord." (These people just don’t get it!)

Genesis 19:1-13 ". . . bring them out of this place: For we will destroy this place. . . ."

Luke 17:26-30 ". . . as it was in the days of Lot . . . thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

(Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.")

Joshua 24:14-15 "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve. . . ."

(James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.") [He doesn't know whose side he's on.]

Psalm 28:5, 7 ". . . he shall destroy them. . . . The Lord is my strength and my shield . . . and I am helped. . . ."

33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."

34:15-16 "The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous. . . . The face of the Lord is against them that do evil. . . ."

vs. 21-22 ". . . they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. . . . none of them that trust in [the Lord] shall be desolate."

46:7,11 "The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah."

47:1-3 "He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet."

112:1 "Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments."

[This suggests the question: does the Lord bless the man that does not fear him or delight in his commandments?]

118:6 "The Lord is on my side. . . ." (Does this mean "literally" or is this just "figuratively speaking"?)

89:20-23 "And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him." (That sounds pretty literal!)

124:1-3 ". . . the Lord . . . was on our side, when men rose up against us. . . ." (Then the Lord was against "them.")

145:20 "The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy."

146:8-9 ". . . the Lord loveth the righteous . . . but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down."

15:8 "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight."

v. 29 "The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous."

v. 21 "Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments."

Isaiah 41:10-15 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee. . . ."

Psalm 3:7 "Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for . . . thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly."

2nd Thessalonians 2:8-11 ". . . God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie . . . But . . . God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. . . ."

1st Peter 3:12 "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous . . . but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."

Ephesians 4:17-24 ". . . walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind . . . being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. . . ."

James 4:4 "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." (So whose side are you on?)

1st John 2:15-29 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (See how clear this is?)

[You’ve just been told that you’ll have to take sides! It is war.]

Matthew 12:30 "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

1st Thessalonians 2:1-16 "But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. . . . for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost."

Revelation 19:11-21 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."

(As soon as you read this one verse, you knew God doesn’t "love us all the same.")
