April fool’s, Ash Wednesday, Birthdays (your birthday is the second highest day in Satanism), Christmas (supposedly “Christ’s Mass – it is Catholic and a lie), Easter (the ancient day of the worship of Ishtar, the fertility goddess, fixed by Catholic decree as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox), Father’s day, Good Friday (it was neither “good” nor “Friday”), “Halloween” (that particular even’ is NOT hallowed at all – it is evil), Lent, (more Catholic garbage), Martin Luther King day (King was an adulterous, fornicating, card carrying communist), moon signs, Mother’s day, New Year’s day (that is, according the Roman calendar), Passover, Saint Valentine’s day (He was no saint), signs of the zodiac, Sunday (the Catholic/Satanic substitute for the sabbath), sun signs, etc.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. * * * For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.”

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

Truth

Compromise

Being “Fanatic” (If you serve and obey the Lord with your whole heart, they will say, you “went off the deep end” and “need to learn moderation in your religion.”)
Λ Revelation 3:15-16 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
[So, ignore your relatives and be fanatic!]
THE UNHOLY “HOLY DAYS”
Leviticus 10:10 “. . . that ye may put difference between holy and unholy. . . .”
“ASH WEDNESDAY” (“Celebrating WHAT?”)
(1) Webster’s definition: “the first day of ‘Lent’ and seventh Wednesday before ‘Easter:’ so called from the practice of sprinkling the foreheads of ‘penitents’ with ashes on that day.” (quotations added)
(A “penitent” is a catholic person impersonating someone who is “repentant” but is not.)
(2) [This whole mess comes from Mithraism, an ancient pagan Persian religion, incorporated by Catholicism into so-called “Christianity” during the dark ages.]
“BIRTHDAYS” (“Celebrating the day of your birth.”)
(1) [Your “birthday” is nothing but the celebration of the birth of your flesh.]
Λ Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing. . . .”
(2) [The birth of your flesh only guarantees you certain death.]
Λ Hebrews 9:27 “. . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. . . .”
Ezekiel 18:20 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
(Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. . . .”)
(5:12 “. . . and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. . . .”)
(3) [You must be born again, which is a spiritual birth, to inherit eternal life and the kingdom of God.]
Λ John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Romans 8:9 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
John 3:6-7 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
1st Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. . . .”
(4) [Why would you want to glorify dead flesh by celebrating your first birth?]
Λ Colossians 3:2 “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing. . . .”
(5) [If the Lord didn’t “celebrate his birthday,” and you weren’t going to do so either, why would you celebrate YOURS?]
(6) [Your own birthday and “Halloween” are the two highest days in Satanism. Does that tell you anything?)
“CHRISTMAS” (pretending to “celebrate the Lord’s birth.”)
(1) [The “churches” are today observing this day (along with Satanists and greedy merchants); however it is not, and never was anything but a Satanic high day glorifying the “god of this world.”]
(2) [The wise men in Matthew 2:11 did NOT “present gifts unto each other,” as Satan always claims, “they presented unto him gifts . . .”; and this was a one-time event.]
(3) [Men presenting gifts to each other is pagan, and is a form of celebration used by servants OF THE DEVIL.]
Λ Revelation 11:3-10 “And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another. . . .” (Merry Christmas!)
(4) [The day of the Lord’s birth is not given in the bible.]
(5) [The season of the Lord’s birth could have been anytime except winter.]
Λ Luke 2:1-8 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.”
(6) [The bible instructs that Christians should celebrate the Lord’s death, not his birth.]
Λ 1st Corinthians 11:26 “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”
(7) [Christmas is entirely pagan in its origins, right down to the details, and was celebrated all over the world in its many pagan forms, such as the Roman “Saturnalia,” for thousands of years before Christ; and the Lord hated it even then.]
Λ Jeremiah 10:1-5 “For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest. . . . They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”
(8) [December 25th is historically significant only because of its association with sun worship, which God hated. It was the main customary day of Baal worship to celebrate the apparent “rebirth” of the sun following the winter solstice.]
Λ Ezekiel 8:16 “And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.”
(9) [The pagan festivals of “Christmas” in connection with observance of December 25th became a custom of so-called “Christianity” by the power of Catholicism and edict of the popes during the dark ages.] (See any encyclopedia.)
Λ Joshua 24:15 “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
“EASTER” (pretending to “celebrate the Lord’s resurrection.”)
(1) [Herod observed Easter.]
Λ Acts 12:1-4 “. . . Herod the king . . . killed James the brother of John. . . . And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter . . . intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.”
(2) [Herod is antichrist.]
Λ Matthew 2:12,16 “Then Herod . . . slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.”
(3) [Easter is entirely pagan in its origin. (See any encyclopedia.) Its trappings are all symbols of the fertility rites of spring (rabbits, bunnies, chicks, eggs, etc.) in honor of the “Goddess of Spring” (Eastre, Ishtar, Asherah, Ashtoreth, Astarte, Diana, Venus, etc.) held in the month of April for thousands of years before Christ; and the Lord hated it even then.]
(4) [The computation of the day of Easter, the first Sunday following the first full moon following the spring (or “vernal”) equinox, is entirely pagan ON ITS FACE!] (So, you thought this was a Godly thing, frolicking with the temple prostitutes, “You know, Dear, to help bless the crops during the spring planting, and all.”)
(5) [The pagan festival of “Easter” became connected with so-called “Christianity” by the power of Catholicism and edict of the popes during the dark ages.] (See any encyclopedia.)
“GOOD FRIDAY” (“Celebrating the Lord’s crucifixion.”)
(1) [It wasn’t “good,” or “Friday.”] (It was a bad Wednesday!)
“HALLOWEEN”
(1) [The “churches” are today observing this day (along with Satanists and greedy merchants); however it is not, and never was anything but a Satanic high day.]
“LENT”
(1) Derivation of the word according to Webster’s: “[ME. lenten; AS. lencten, the spring, from lang, long: so called from the lengthening of the days in the spring.]” (underlining added)
“PASSOVER”
“SAINT VALENTINE’S DAY”
(1) [Saint Valentine was no saint!]
“SUNDAY” (The Catholic/Satanic substitute for the sabbath.)
We are commanded in God’s Word to observe certain days. Passover is one of those that is given to God’s people, “for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.” (Exodus 12). Lumping God’s Scriptural holy days with man’s and/or Satan’s holidays is not rightly dividing the Word of truth.
Jennifer if you are saying that we still need to keep the passover you are terribly wrong. Jesus Christ is our passover: 1 Corinthians 5:7
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:”
YES, Christ is our Passover Lamb! And Christ is the Firstfruits of them that slept, Paul said. We can & should also observe Firstfruits as the church, keeping this Biblical, God-ordained holy day in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s GLORIOUS resurrection instead of calling the day “Easter Sunday”. Jesus’ body is represented by the unleavened bread of Passover, and we can keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread in remembrance of Him. His Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, the 4th of 7 holy days to be observed according to God’s laws. We can observe this as Christians, giving thanks to God annually for His Holy Spirit in us, enabling us and giving us the desire to keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight out of a heart of LOVE. There are 3 more in the autumn, yet to be fulfilled. They’re in the BIBLE, and the can and should be kept by Christians because they’re in the BIBLE– that is, if you believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works *_*
When Jesus said, “This do in remembrance of Me”, what was He doing? He was keeping Passover with His disciples, showing how each element of this beautiful celebration of God’s deliverance was pointing to Him as Messiah, His sacrificial death as the Passover Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, crucified on Passover. Keeping Passover in remembrance of Jesus as the Passover Lamb is the true observance of the everlasting ordinance God commanded His people to observe. Christians have taken Catholicism’s “communion” — 2 elements of Passover — as a church ordinance and neglected God’s full, beautiful, and prophetic everlasting ordinance, which is anti-semetism just as much as calling Firstfruits/Resurrection Day “Easter”, celebrating “Good Friday” which is not in keeping with “3 Days and 3 Nights”, calling the first day of the week the new “Sabbath”, et cetera. I know, hardly anyone believes this. Christians are so worried that someone will think we are saved by obedience to the law that we do not have to obey any of the laws, as we should DESIRE to do as obedient CHILDREN through that priceless gift of blood-purchased salvation.
The point is this: we should strive to walk in obedience to God, not observing man’s holidays (especially those that are Satanic in origin!). But if we want to please the LORD, we need to know what He says is “good” and what He says is “evil” and walk accordingly. If He says in His Word something is to be observed every week, month, or year, then it should be observed for His glory and we should search the scriptures to know why *_*
Hi there.
Are you saying that Sunday’s (the day that we go to church and the day that we rest – the 7th day) is a satanic day?
I’m a bit confused.
God tells us in John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” The weekly sabbath is part of those commandments, so we must obey God and keep it holy. If you go back to Genesis, God regards a day as the evening and the morning. So Sunday is not really the sabbath. The sabbath begins Friday sundown and ends Saturday sundown. Over the years Satan used men to change the Lords sabbath into a different day. Now knowing from the scriptures exactly when the sabbath is, why would we not keep it when it’s supposed to be kept? This study was aimed mostly at observing secular days and pagan days like christmas and easter. If you would like to study more on the subject of the sabbath please check out our sabbath bible study. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the response. Honestly I don’t think we have to get too technical about it. Unfortunately we live in “this world” whether we like it or not. By what you saying, then we must go to work on a Sunday and we must be off on a Friday. I think that if we keep one day holy whether it is a Saturday or a Sunday then God would be happy with that. Remember in the old days the shops were even closed on a Sunday. So how would you go about your business if you worked Monday to Friday and then you not allowed to go to the shops on a Saturday because it’s your sabbath? I’m not arguing, I’m just saying.
WE have to stick to what is important. Jesus died for us, we have to win souls for Jesus and be ready for His coming and live Holy lives. Why debate whether we must worship God on a Saturday or Sunday? We should worship Him every day plus keep a day totally dedicated just to Him.
Hello, it was previously stated that according to John 14:15 the weekly sabbath is part of God’s commandments that we are supposed to obey. First of all, were the gentile christians commanded to keep the law? Secondly if they were, then why was it stated in Acts chapter 21:24,25 by Apostle Paul that the Gentiles were not commanded to keep the law (included in the law are sabbath days) when it was already cleared up by the Apostles in Acts 15:24?
I believe you are confusing the 10 commandments with the law. You began you comment with the weekly sabbath being part of God’s commandments and you are right. Exo 20:8-11 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Then you switch your focus on the law. God did not do away with his commandments when Jesus Christ died for you and me but, it required a change in the law given by God. This law is the law contained in ordinances Eph 2:15 ” Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;” For example tithing, tithing was part of the law given by God, but in Hebrews 7 it tells us there is no more need for this as Jesus is now our high priest. Heb 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” God never did away with his commandments John 14:15 ” If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Joh 15:10 ” If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”
Using Jeremiah 10 in the way you are to imply it has anything to do with Christmas trees is dishonest and misleading. Proof:
http://www.examiner.com/article/the-true-origins-of-the-christmas-tree
It is not misleading to point out that Christmas trees are treated as idols during this time of year. God has created beautiful things in this world including evergreen trees, but shall we treat them like idols? “Romans 1:25 who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” People even sing songs to them “O’Christmas Tree”
Max your proof is not quite proof when you link to an article that appears to be written by yourself in which your research is pulled from an article from the History channel (History.com). You have to understand when the world uses the word “Christian” it doesn’t mean all “true” Christians. Most of the time when the news, tv, radio and media in general say the word “Christian” they mean “Catholic” and Catholicism has everything wrong with it.Roman Emperor Constantine and Pope Julius the 1st of all people are credited with December 25th as the official date of Jesus birth. Even the article you linked to in your article talks about the origin of Christmas deriving from the worship of the winter solstice and Saturnalia.
Jeremiah 10 is talking about creating an idol, but Christmas trees, Santa Claus and all the Christmas traditions are treated like idols. Children are lied to about the all knowing “god like” Santa who supposedly knows if your good or not.You cannot even begin to justify that one.
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
In the Bible we are never told to celebrate the Lords birthday, but rather to remember his death. 1 Corinthians chapter 11 speaks of this.
