[This is one of Satan’s many formulas for our misdirection of effort and waste of time; plus, it’s another great gimmick for ushering in a totalitarian police state under the noses of a people once protected by a Constitution.]

(A) "The earth is all we have. We must take care of her." (No, buddy, the earth is all YOU have!)

1st John 4:1-6 "They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them."

1st Chronicles 29:11-15 "For we are strangers . . . and sojourners . . . our days on the earth are as a shadow. . . ."

(B) "The earth doesn’t belong to us. We belong to the earth." (Wrong again! YOU belong to the earth!)

Mark 9:41 ". . . because ye belong to Christ. . . ."

2nd Timothy 2:19 ". . . The Lord knoweth them that are his."

Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."

89:11 "The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine. . . ."

(D) "We must limit our populations so that we don’t interfere with the delicate balance of the earth."

(Translation for the naive: "Sodomy, abortion, divorce, war, and murder by the state are acceptable alternatives.")

Genesis 1:26-28 ". . . and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion . . . over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

Psalm 127:3 "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

Exodus 19:3-5 ". . . ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine. . . ."

(What is the Lord’s interest here? Saving the whales?)

John 17:6-9 ". . . I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine."

["They" DON’T belong to the world.]

1st Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

[The world belongs to the Lord and not to us, and the Lord has the right to tell us what the priorities are.]

John 17:14 ". . . the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

18:36 "My kingdom is not of this world . . . now is my kingdom not from hence."

Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world. . . ."

You are either friends with the world or you are not!

James 4:4 "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."

Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters. . . . Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Our God shall destroy the world. (Why would anybody in Christ try to "save the environment"?)

Psalm 50:1-12 "Our God shall come . . . a fire shall devour before him. . . ."

Revelation 8:7 "The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."

8:8 "And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed." (But, what about the whales?)

Nahum 1:5-6 ". . . the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein."

1st John 2:15-17 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. . . . And the world passeth away. . . ."
