The World says, "We're bringing in the dawning of a great New Age!"

Isaiah 8:9-13 "Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces . . . Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought . . . for God is with us." (Praise the Lord Jesus!)

Psalm 33:10 "The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect."

Job 5:6-15 "He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise."

The Lord controls the hearts and thoughts of evil men and kings. (That's comforting)

Exodus 4:21 ". . . but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go."

7:3 "And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt."

14:1-4 "And I will harden Pharaoh's heart . . . and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host. . . ."

(compare v. 5 with 12:35-36)

Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."

Revelation 17:12,17 "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will. . . ."

Daniel 11:27-32 ". . . they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper. . . ."

Satan and his empire will seem to get the victory, but it is only the prelude to their destruction.

1st Thessalonians 5:1-3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them. . . ."

(Matthew 24:6 "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. . . .")

James 5:1-8 "Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days."

Luke 21:20 "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."

Zechariah 12:3,9 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people. . . ."

Jeremiah 30:1-7 "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble. . . ."

(What about the "Christians" that don't keep the commandments?) (Yea, right!)

(v. 34-39 ". . . a man's foes shall be they of his own household.")

Perversity in the "churches"

Acts 20:25-30 "Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them."

(That is, WITHIN the so-called "churches. These men will not be seducing atheists, when saying things like:)

F "Once saved, always saved." (2) "The commandments are done away with." (3) "It’s all love." (4) "‘Protestant’ doesn’t mean that anymore." (5) "The old testament is done away with." (6) "If you don’t tithe, you’re robbing God." (7) "Yea, OK, that’s right, but don’t go telling my people that." (8) "What did Catholics ever do to you?" (9) "We don’t even fear God" (10) "You shouldn’t fear God." (11) "Doctrine doesn’t matter now." (13) "Gays can be as much a part of the church as anybody else." (14) "Tom, you can’t go around telling people they’re going to hell." (15) "I think what you said is against the law." (16) "We believe, that by the power of God, a baby can believe on Jesus Christ with all its heart." (17) "We need to get away from this idea of ‘us and them’ in terms of our religion. We need to come together to see that God does not think that way: God loves us all the same." (18) "You better watch out for those cult guys."

2nd Peter 2:1-3 ". . . there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies . . . And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

1st Timothy 4:1-5 ". . . in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. . . ."

v. 13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

(Colossians 2:6-8 "Beware lest any man spoil you though philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men. . . .")

Isaiah 3:12 "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. . . ."

(There will be women ruling over men in the church.)

There will be perversity in the nation, and in the world

Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be . . . and there is no new thing under the sun."

Luke 17:22-30 ". . . as it was in the days of Noe . . . also . . . the days of Lot . . . thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

(How was it in the days of Noe and Lot?)

Genesis 6:5,11 "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth . . . and it grieved him at his heart."

19:1,4 ". . . the men of the city . . . compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people. . . ."

v. 5 "Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them."

[Does this sound "GAY" to you? This is the way the world will be at the end.]

6-9 ". . . now will we deal worse with thee, than with them . . . and came near to break the door."

[This they did right before God destroyed them all; and they didn’t have a clue it was coming.]

Matthew 24:37-39 "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark. . . ." (And they didn’t have a clue.)

Romans 1:21- 32 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections. . . ."

(Back to the present:)

(Philippians 2:12-16 ". . . be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. . . .")

2nd Peter 3:3 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts."

[Their lusts stem from devils who drive them to desire all manner of evil, and they will control the world.]

2nd Timothy 3:1-3 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be . . . fierce, despisers of those that are good. . . ."

(v. 5 shows that these people are RELIGIOUS!)

QUESTION: What makes these people fierce?

ANSWER: Matthew 8:28 "And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way."

Matthew 24:3-12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

(Religious people will be saying things like, "What kind of God would let all this evil happen?")

(2nd Thessalonians 2:1-3 ". . . that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first. . . .")

Matthew 24:21-27 "For then shall be great tribulation. . . ."

(Romans 5:1-3 ". . . we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience. . . .")

(1st Peter 1:3-7 ". . . that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. . . .")

Revelation 2:10 ". . . ye shall have tribulation . . . be thou faithful unto death. . . ."

1st John 3:1,13 "Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you." (OK, the world will hate you. Is that a problem?)

Daniel 11:33 "And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall . . . many days."

Daniel 12 "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."

Hail and fire shall be coming down out of heaven.

Revelation 13:11-18 "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. . . ."

Job 38:22-23 "Hast thou . . . seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?"

(Revelation 8:7 "The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."

(Revelation 16:21 "And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.")

2nd Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

(Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.")

Isaiah 2:17-22 "And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low. . . ."
