Luke 21:23 “But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.” (From whom is this wrath?)

UNDER GOD’S WRATH (OLD TESTAMENT)

Exodus 15:7 “And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.”

Exodus 22:24 “And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.”

Numbers 11:33 “And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague. ”

2nd Kings 22:17 “Because they have forsaken me . . . that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.”

23:26 “Notwithstanding the Lord turned not from the fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked him withal.”
