Jeremiah 6:2 “I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” [Israel, that is.]
Revelation 12:1 “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. . . .” [There are two women in Revelation: the Lord has exalted this woman of chapter 12 for his own glory. The Lord is against “the other woman” of chapter 17.]
12:13 “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman. . . .” (Through out history, the Jews have always been persecuted. Historians who are ignorant of the bible, repeatedly ask, “Why?”)
[ANSWER: Whatever God loves, Satan hates.]
12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed. . . .”
The Salvation of the Jews is Not Dependent Upon Their Own Goodness, but God’s.
Romans 9:15-16 “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”
The Lord will Return to Israel (In spite of her wickedness, the Lord loves Israel, and is faithful, and will deliver her.)
Psalm 147:2 “The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.” (This is prophecy.)
Zechariah 1:17 “. . . the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.” (This is prophecy again.)
Isaiah 43:1 “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
45:17 “But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation. . . .” (and again)
46:12-13 “. . . I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.” (and again)
54:7-10 “For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.”
62:1-3 “For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name. . . .”
vs. 4-5 “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi_bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. . . . as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.”
vs. 11-12 “Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion [Jerusalem], Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him [to give unto his servants], and his work before him [to destroy his enemies, which are the enemies of Israel]. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.” [Believe it, you that hate Israel.]
Jeremiah 3:1 “They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord.”
33:14-15 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.”
Ezekiel 11:16-17 “Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.” [That happened in 1948, whether you like it or not.]
Zechariah 2:12 “And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.”
12:10 “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
Micah 7:18-20 “He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities. . . .”
Romans 11:1-5 “Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.”
vs. 11-15 “Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles. . . .”
v. 23 “And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.”
vs. 24 “For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?”
vs. 26-27 “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”
[If you don’t like this plan of God, how then are YOU saved?]
The Times of the Gentiles Has An End
Romans 11:25 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
Luke 21:24 “. . . Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
True Christians Are Made To Be Co-Inheritors With Israel, and Grafted Thereinto (There is only ONE body.)
Ephesians 3:1-6 “. . . the Gentiles [are] fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ. . . .”
2:11-14 “Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles . . . that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. . . .”
Romans 2:29 “But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” (Did you know you were made to be a Jew in Christ Jesus?)
Galatians 3:7-9 “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.”
v. 29 “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
