The “Mass”

Posted July 30th, 2010 in Bible Studies, Major Religions, Mother of Harlots by admin

[While remembering that the Catholic Institution claims it never changes, take note of the following changes.]

The ritual of “the mass” was established by the Catholic institution in 394 A.D.

(1) The “mass” is not one thing, it is many things, and it is part of many things.

(2) The “mass” is the centerpiece of Catholicism.

(3) The “mass” is an abomination before God!

The “priests” began to distinguish themselves from the laity through the wearing of special clothing in 500 A.D.

Praying to “Mary,” dead “saints,” and “angels” began in 600

The first human being on earth to be proclaimed “pope” took place in 610.

“Veneration” of relics was authorized in 788.

“Holy water” was instituted in 850.

Canonization of dead “saints” was first done in 995. [Not to promote Jesus Christ, but to promote Catholicism.] Continue Reading »

“Mary” (The Catholic Version)

Posted July 30th, 2010 in Bible Studies, Major Religions, Mother of Harlots by admin

A list of LIES concerning Mary follows below which the servant of the Lord Jesus Christ will recognize as Satan’s masterpiece of pagan seduction for religious folks made drunk by the “MOTHER OF HARLOTS”.

“Mary is our ‘mediatrix.’” (“mediatrix” is not in the bible: see Webster’s: “mediatrix, n. a woman mediator”)

1st Timothy 2:3-6 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. . . .”

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Acts 4:10-12 “Neither is there salvation in any other. . . .” [Satan is a liar!]

Colossians 2:10 “And ye are complete in him. . . .” (What is it about these verses you can’t understand?) Continue Reading »

1st Corinthians 6:16 “What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? . . .”

Matthew 7:15-27 “Beware of false prophets. . . .”

10:16-18 “But beware of men. . . .”

16:1-12 “. . . beware of . . . the doctrine of the Pharisees and of Sadducees.”

Mark 12:38-40 “Beware of the scribes. . . .”

Philippians 3:2 “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.”

Pentecostalism

Posted July 30th, 2010 in Bible Studies, Major Religions by admin

[OVERVIEW: Pentecostalism is only one more of Satan’s well orchestrated detours from the truth in Christ.

(A) Satan is a liar and a deceiver, and he is in the religious business.

1. Religion is Satan’s natural area of interest.

a.) He’s trying to get the whole world to obey him as god, instead of God.

Isaiah 14:14 “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

b.) He doesn’t need to deceive atheists: they are already deceived at the most fundamental level.

Psalm 53:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”

2. Satan’s interest is in deceiving the whole world, but particularly necessary for him is to deceive those who, without his intervention, would believe the truth, and thereby be protected from his lies.

a.) He doesn’t care what lies you believe, as long as they keep you occupied and ignorant of the truth.

b.) He is ingenious at providing religious avenues (“denominations”) to suit everyone’s tastes.

(B) There are two basic approaches in achieving Satan’s agenda: Continue Reading »

Charismatics

Charismatic Movement -tf

DEFINITION: One of several manifestations of the present Laodicean church, wherein members raise a ruckus pretending theyre spiritually alive while they blissfully ignore what is written, proving that they are carnal or spiritually dead.

1st Corinthians 3:1-3 “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal. . . .

John 3:7 “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1st Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 8:1-7 “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” (Those of the Spirit keep their mind not “on the Spirit”, but on “the things of the Spirit.“)

(1) They do not pray to the Spirit.

Matthew 6:6 “But thou, when thou prayest . . . pray to thy Father. . . .

Acts 9:20-21 “Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name [Jesus Christ]. . . .”

(2) They do not glorify the Spirit.

John 15:26 “But when the Comforter is come . . . he shall testify of me. . . .

5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

(In other words, the Spirit of God and the words of God are in agreement.)

Acts 4:8-12 “. . . for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1st Corinthians 3:21 “Therefore let no man glory in men.

(Peter, “Mary”, Billy Graham, “His Holiness,” “the holy father”, etc.)

1st Corinthians 14:1-40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” (They openly mock this verse.)

Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. . . .

Acts 20:28-29 “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Once Saved, Always Saved

This Baptist saying (and the satanic/humanist concept it pretends to express) does not exist in the bible in any form, or in any words. Historically examined, this false doctrine developed as a reaction to the false Catholic doctrine which demanded that a man could not know he was “born again”, while at the same time insisting he must pay money and do works to KEEP what he never had anyway! (Two wrong doctrines do not make a right one.)

BAPTIST PROOF-TEXTS

(These five numbered verses are known by every Baptist, which they wrest to their convenience as proof-texts, but they are nearly always ignorant of the verses that follow each example, and certainly will not apply them to doctrine.) Continue Reading »

Revelation 11:17 “We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come. . . .”

4:8 “. . . Lord God Almighty, which was [from the beginning], and is [he lives], and is to come [the Saviour].”

v. 11 “Thou art worthy, O Lord . . . for thou hast created all things. . . .”

John 1:1-3,14 “In the beginning was the Word, and . . . All things were made by him. . . .”

15:3 “the Lamb . . . Lord God Almighty . . . thou King of saints”

Genesis 17:1 “. . . the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God. . . .” (“Abram saw him.)

35:9-11 “And God appeared unto Jacob . . . And God said unto him, I am God Almighty. . . .” (Jacob saw him.)

48:3 “And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz. . . .” (Jacob testified of it.)

Exodus 3:13-16 [To Moses] “The Lord God . . . the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared. . . .”

Joshua 5:13-15 “. . . Joshua . . . lifted up his eyes and looked and . . . there stood . . . the captain of the Lord’s host. . . .”

(Joshua worshipped him.) (Joshua saw him.) (Who is this?)

(Hebrews 2:10 “For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”)

John 1:18 “No man hath seen God [the Father] at any time; the only begotten Son . . . hath declared him.”

5:37 “Ye have neither heard his voice at any time [the Father himself], nor seen his shape.”

(God the Father’s voice was later heard one time: [Matthew 17:5] “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”)

(1st John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”)

1st John 4:12-14 “No man hath seen God at any time. . . . the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.”

[Who was it that was seen and heard in the Old Testament, of whom the “Jehovah’s Witnesses” claim it was the Father?]

Revelation 1:1-18 (8) “I am Alpha and Omega . . . which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

22:13,16 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. . . . I Jesus. . . .”

Catholicism

This bible study looks at the brutal truth concerning a hideously evil thing that has deceived and devoured the world.  It is not written out of hatred for those who are deceived by it (as will naturally be assumed by those who do not know the truth) but is rather written out of the love of Jesus Christ who would have all men to be saved, which love of his is shed abroad upon the hearts of men everywhere who are called to love the truth, that they may be made free.
John 8:32-36   “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Continue Reading »
