Psalm 148:1-5 “. . .praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.”

NOTE: Compare “waters . . . above the heavens” in v. 4 above, with Genesis 1:6-8.

Psalm 148:4 “Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.”

Genesis 1:6-8 “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven.”

[If there are things here that you do not fully understand, this is not an indication that you would be on the right track if you decided to believe the imaginations and propaganda of godless and deceived men who think they’re “scientific.”]

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

[Consider in your mind that this is the very first thing the Lord said in his word.]

QUESTIONS: If you were forced to draw a conclusion from this fact, would you conclude

that being the first thing said indicates it isn’t important to the Lord?

that being the first thing said indicates it isn’t important to the Lord how you believe on the subject?

that being the first thing said indicates it isn’t important to the Lord how you believe on the subject, as long as you’re “sincere” in your belief?

Λ Romans 3:3-4 “For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

QUESTION: Why would the Lord say this to us?

ANSWER: So we will not be deceived into thinking that things which are seen had to originate from such things!

Genesis 1:16 “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

(Psalm 147:1-5 (4) “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”)

Nehemiah 9:6 “Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”

QUESTION: Why does it not say, “. . .and the inhabitants of the earth worshippeth thee.”?

ANSWER: Because they don’t! Half of them deny his existence: the other half denies his power!

Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. . . .”

Isaiah 40:12-17 “Who hath . . . meted out heaven with the span . . . ?” (The Lord is asking questions.)

vs. 21-24 “. . . the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers. . . .” (This is the reality men do not want to face.)

43:6-7 “I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” (This is that “little flock” that believes the Lord, and glorifies him.)

45:9-12 “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” (And the Lord is entitled to receive glory from his work.)

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

v. 25 “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

QUESTION: If a tree is known by his fruits, and a man is known by his work; would it not be logical that the Lord should be known by his creation?

vs. 26-27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

5:1-2 “This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.”

John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Ephesians 3:8-12 “And to make all men see what . . . hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ . . . might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. . . .”

[If we do not know these things, we have missed our high calling.] (Modern “churches” foolishly compromise their thinking with lying propaganda in order to please the world and be accepted by the “new world order” of things, but deny the Lord by their doctrine.)

Colossians 1:9-17 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

Genesis 2:1-8 [The significance of the seventh day is all wrapped up together with the Lord’s creation.]

Revelation 10:5-7 “And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Psalm 33:6-9 “By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

. . . Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.”

[Whereas the wonder of the “heavens” should instill “awe” in men, that they would be inclined to glorify and “fear” “the Lord” for his power and genius; Satan has driven men to believe the universe MADE ITSELF. (Think about that.) They call this outrageous Satanic religious idea “science” and manage to keep a straight face!]

146:1-10 (5-6) “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is. . . .”

Romans 1:16-22 (20) “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. . . .”

QUESTION: So they don’t have an excuse, but what is the cause of their delusion?

ANSWER: Pride and reprobation. (“Pride goeth before destruction. . . .” – Proverbs 16:18)

Romans 1:28 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind. . . .”

(Modern physical “science” is only secondarily in the business of explaining how things work: the primary effort is now to shift the focus to deceive ignorant men into believing that “because we understand how it works,” this is proof that God didn’t make it (it “evolved”) supposing to eliminate the God with whom we have to deal.

The FACTS are:

(1) We are a very long way from knowing how everything works.

(2) Even if we knew everything about how anything worked, that would say NOTHING about that thing’s origin!

(SUPPOSE that you’re a scientist and you find a watch in the woods. You then take it apart and thoroughly measure its gears and describe its internal action.

Are you now entitled to say that because you have perfectly described and measured the workings of the watch, that this piece of equipment made itself ?

Would this ridiculous conclusion become more believable if you claimed the watch made itself over a period of “millions” or “billions of years”?

Won’t the people working at Timex manufacturing just think you’re stupid?)

1st Timothy 6:20 “. . . keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith.”

Colossians 2:4-8 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Isaiah 29:16 “Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? . . . .”

(again) Romans 3:4 “. . . yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Yea, Lord Jesus!)

Revelation 4:11 “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

QUESTION: If you were Satan what would be your strategy?

2nd Peter 3:1-7 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. . . .”
