Genesis 4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.” [first use]

[That is, free from the power of sin, NOT free to do whatever you want, you hypocrite!]

Hebrews 12:4 “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”

The Consequence of Sin:

Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another daily . . . lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”

Willful Sin:

(Philippians 2:5-12 “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”)

[A question is asked: everybody knows the answer, and somebody is in trouble.]

QUESTION: Who’s in trouble?

ANSWER: Whoever rejects this work of Jesus Christ!

(John 3:19 (again) “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness. . . .”)
