There is no middle ground.

Proverbs 1:24-29 “For . . . they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord. . . .”
2nd Thessalonians 2:8-11 “. . . God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie . . . But . . . God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. . . .”
The important choosing is of God.
John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. . . .”

Deuteronomy 7:1-10 “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”
Isaiah 41:8-9 “But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.”
Daily Choices in the Fear of the Lord
Isaiah 56:2-7 “. . . unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me. . . .”
Hebrews 4:1 “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.”
2nd Peter 3:14 “Wherefore, beloved . . . be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
Philippians 2:12 “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
2nd Peter 2:20-22 “For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”
